An ordin; ce amending Ordinance No. 10493, entitled
"An ordinance granting permission and authority to Isedor \.
Goldetsky and William Goldetsky, co-partners doing business
under the name and style of 'Isedor Goldetsky & Son,t of
the City of Saint Paul, to construct a public sewer, at
their own cost and expense, on, under, and across Lots 1
to 11 inclusive, Block 1, Goldetskyts Addition, according
to the recorded plat thereof on file and of record in the
office of the Registrar of Titles in and for the County
of Ramsey, State of Minnesota, particularly within that
certain 10 feet wide public sewer easement therein, the
center line whereof is coincident throughout its course
with the several lot lines lying between and separating
said Lots 1 to 4 inclusive and said Lots 5 to 11 inclusive
in said. Block 1, extended in a continuous sequence, except
the northerly 4.7 feet of said easement. This is an
emergency ordinance rendered necessary for the preservation
of the public peace, health and safety";

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 10493 of the City of Saint Paul, approved
April 6, 1955, shall be and the same hereby is amended in the following par-
ticulars, to-wit:
That paragraph No. 4 of Section 2 of said ordinance shall be
and the same hereby is amended so that the same shall read as follows:
"Said permittees, after the inception of said work, shall
prosecute the same continuously, with diligence, and fully
complete said work to the satisfaction and approval of said
Commissioner and Chief Engineer on or before September 1, 1956."
Section 2. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency
ordinance rendered necessary for the preservation of the public peace,
health, and safety.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage, approval, and publication.
