RESOLUTION
F SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA
Presented by
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul enjoys a sister city relationship with the City of Nagasaki, Japan.
WIIEREAS, Nagasaki's Mayor Taue will be leading a small delegarion for a short visit of Saint Paul on Apri128 and April
29 for the purpose of reaffuming our partnership and our friendship.
WI�REAS, the Morrissey Hospitality has offered to host the delegarion for an evening dinner party whose expenses could
reach as much as $1,500.00; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City hereby accepts the gifts of the Morrissey Hospitality for ttte
expenses on behalf of the City of Sairn Paul and its Sister City relationship with Nagasaki Japan; and
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City fmds a public purpose of the advancemern of trade, education, arts/culture
and intergovemmernal xelarions between the citizens and officials of the cities; and
FINALLY RESOLVED, that on behalf of the City of Sainf Paul, the Council extends its fhanks and appreciarion fo the
Morrissey Hospitality Group for their generosity and public service in this matter.
