Dear Sir:
This is in the matter of the application of Phillips Petroleum
for permit to install and operate a filling station adjacent to
the southeast corner of Brimhall and Randolph. This property is
described as lots 1, 2 and 3 - block 1 - Koenig's Addition. The
zoning is "commercial."
The site is presently vacant. It has a frontage of 113.8' on
Randolph and 126'6" on Brimhall.
The applicant's plans filed July 16, 1956 are in accordance with
existing standards and have been approved by the Traffic Engineer
and the paving division of the Department of Public Works and the
Bureau of Fire Prevention.
Field investigation discloses no objection to this proposal from
the standpoint of its design and relationship to traffic or adjacent
land use.
In consideration of these factors, the Zoning Board recommends
this permit be granted in accordance with the applicant's plans
filed July 16, 1956.
