INTERMEDIARY ORDER
In the Matter of condemning and taking for sewer purposes a triangular shaped piece
of land in the NE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 20, Township 29 North, Range 22 West,
said triangular shaped piece of land being described as follows: Beginning at a point
on the north line of Section 20, Township 29 North, Range 22 West, said point being
155 ft. west of the northwesterly line of Parkway Drive as measured along the north line
of said section; thence east 155 ft. along the north line of said. Section 20; thence in
a southwesterly direction along the northwesterly line of Parkway Drive a distance of
226.85 ft. to a point on the northwesterly line of Parkway Drive; thence northerly a
distance of 165.64 ft. to the point of beginning,
under Preliminary Order 178202 approved June 6, 1956
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is condemn and take for
sewer purposes a triangular shaped piece of land in the NE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section
20, Township 29 North, Range 22 West, said triangular shaped piece of land being described
as follows: Beginning at a point on the north line of Section 20, Township 29 North,
Range 22 West, said point being 155 ft. west of the northwesterly line of Parkway Drive
as measured along the north line of said section; thence east 155 ft. along the north
line of said Section 20; thence in a southwesterly direction along the northwesterly
line of Parkway Drive a distance of 226.85 ft. to a point on the northwesterly line of
Parkway Drive; thence northerly a distance of 165.64 ft. to the point of beginning,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 450.00
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 14th day of
August , 19.56_, at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
