WHEREAS, Alfred H. Schroeder, City Architect, having
requested the City Council to hold a public hearing to consider any
complaints about the expense incurred by the City of Saint Paul in
removing dangerous structures at 1139 Juno Avenue, more particularly
described as Lot 15, Howard Greene Addition, the City Council held a
public hearing on August 8, 1956, to consider the expense and to
confirm the amount thereof; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the City Council, pursuant to C. F.
No. 176379, approved January 12, 1956, published January 24, 1956,
set a public hearing to consider removing the dangerous structure, and
the City Council by C. F. No. 176691, approved February 7, 1956,
published February 11, 1956, ordered the wrecking by and at the separate
cost and expense of the owner, occupant, or other person in control
thereof, and the City Council by C. F. No. 176938, approved February 29,
1956, published March 3, 1956, directed the Commissioner of Parks,
Playgrounds and Public Buildings to enter upon the premises and wreck
and remove the buildings thereon and do any and a]1 things therein
necessary for the protection of life limb, and adjoining property,
incurred and that the City of Saint Paul has the expense of $333.81
in removing slid structure; and -
WHEREAS, it appears that Herman Schober, % Rochester State
Hospital, Rochester, Minnesota, and Emma Leona Schober, % 440 Iglehart
Avenue, Saint Paul. 3, Minnesota, are the owners of the premises; be it
RESOLVED, that we, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul,
do hereby confirm the amount of $333.81 to be the fair, true, and
reasonable amount for such services incurred in removing the dangerous
structures; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City Clerk be directed to file in
the office of the Register of Deeds for the County of Ramsey a statement
of expense incurred by the City for the purpose of securing a lien on
the property, pursuant to the Building Code.

Dear Sir:
Please file a statement of expense in the office of the
Register of Deeds for the purpose of creating a lien on
the property known as 1139 Juno Avenue, described as Lot
15, Howard Greene Addition, St. Paul, Minnesota. The
property is lised in the name of Herman Schrober, c/o
Rochester State Hospital and Emma Leona Schober, c/o 440
Iglehart Avenue, St. Paul.
The expense was incurred by virtue of the wrecking and
removal of the frame dwelling, pump house, tool shed,
outside toilet, and chicken coop therefrom. Following
is an itemized statement of the expenses as per Register-
ed Bill 4-1473, dated June 8, 1956.
