RESOLUTION ACC PTING DEVELOPMENT GRANTS FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF
EMPLOYEMENT AND OMIC DEVELOPMENT FOR THE STH AND WALL STREETS
AND WEST SIDE FLATS SITES
WHEREAS, the City Council on February 3, 2010, by Resolution Number 10-108, authorized the
Director of the Department of Planning and Economic Development to apply to the Minnesota Department
of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) for Redevelopment grants for the S and Wall Street
and West Side Flats sites; and
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development approved
Redevelopment grants of $72,475 for the Sth and Wall Streets site and $598,906 for the West Side
Flats site; and
WHEREAS, the Mayar, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does hereby
certify that $671,381 in funds are available for appropriation in excess of those estimated in the 2010
budget and recommends the following changes to the 2010 budget:
