M. on August 31, 1956, upon the advisability and necessity of the repair, replacement remodeling, or wrecking and removal of the two story frame and brick veneer duplex dwelling on the northeasterly 40 feet of Lot 5, Block 179, Robertson's Addition to West St. Paul, according to the plat thereof recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds of Ramsey County, Minnesota, also described as No. 14 East Indiana Avenue, because said structure is reported to be dangerous and unsafe to life, limb and adjoining property. Council City of St. Paul Gentlemen: Please institute condemnation action against the two story frame and brick veneer duplex dwelling at 14 Bast Indiana Avenue, described as the Northeasterly 40 feet of Lot 5, Block 179, Robertson's Addition to West St. Paul. This building is 38 by 22 by 24. The brick veneer is falling and bricks are bulging on the front and west walls. The two story rear porches are also in danger of collapse. The building is in poor state of repair and should be wrecked and removed from the premises. The last known record owners are: Esidore Labovich and Israel Labovich, 14 East Indiana Avenue. William Sachs, 20 East Indiana Avenue; Ramsey County Welfare Board, Mr. Haines Sabean, Supervisor of Claims & Recovery, 1615 Court House, St. Paul; and Mrs. Paul Siever, 2401 Bantus Point Road, Wayzata, Minnesota have an interest in the property. A Danger Notice has ,been posted. We recommend that the Council set a public hearing date in accordance with Section 107.2 of the Building Code, which outlines con- demnation procedure.
