Gentlemen:
Please institute condemnation action against the two
story frame and brick veneer duplex dwelling at 14 Bast
Indiana Avenue, described as the Northeasterly 40 feet
of Lot 5, Block 179, Robertson's Addition to West St.
Paul.
This building is 38 by 22 by 24. The brick veneer is
falling and bricks are bulging on the front and west
walls. The two story rear porches are also in danger
of collapse. The building is in poor state of repair
and should be wrecked and removed from the premises.
The last known record owners are: Esidore Labovich and
Israel Labovich, 14 East Indiana Avenue. William Sachs,
20 East Indiana Avenue; Ramsey County Welfare Board,
Mr. Haines Sabean, Supervisor of Claims & Recovery, 1615
Court House, St. Paul; and Mrs. Paul Siever, 2401 Bantus
Point Road, Wayzata, Minnesota have an interest in the
property.
A Danger Notice has ,been posted. We recommend that the
Council set a public hearing date in accordance with
Section 107.2 of the Building Code, which outlines con-
demnation procedure.
Your truly,
