RESOLVED, That the Purchasing Agent be, and he is hereby authorized, with
the consent of the Comptroller, to Rent from TWIN CITY TESTING AND ENGINEERING
LABORATORY, for Ten Days, more or less, Core Drilling Equipment complete with
operator and assistant to take cores in asphaltic concrete on University
Avenue from Oxford to West City Limits, at a cost of $100.00 per day, without
advertisement or competitive bids as this is the only source of supply and
no advantage could be gained thereby.
