INTERMEDIARY ORDER
In the Matter of partially opening, widening and extending the proposed Northern
Route by condemning and taking the following described lots and parcels of land: The
south 90 ft. of Lot 6, Pease Bros' Rearrangement of Block one, Hersey-Woolsey Addition
to the City of St. Paul; also the west 21 ft. of Lot 11. and the east 18.6 ft. of Lot 15,
Block 2, Jos. R. Weide's Rearrangement of Block 3 and North one-half of Block 2, Winter's
Addition to St. Paul, Minnesota,
under Preliminary Order 178709 approved July 10, 1956
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is partially opening,
widening and extending the proposed Northern Route by condemning and taking the following
described lots and parcels of land: The south 90 ft. of Lot 6, Pease Bros. Rearrangement
of Block one, Hersey-Woolsey Addition to the City of St. Paul; also the west 21 ft. of
Lot 11I. and the east 18.6 ft. of Lot 15, Block 2, Jos. .R. Weide's Rearrangement of
Block 3 and North one-half of Block 2, Winter's Addition to St. Paul, Minnesota,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 8,050.00
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 21st day of
August , 19 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
