and hereby awards contracts for furnishing and delivering the following to the Water
Department, Hamline & Carroll Avenues, St. Paul, Minnesota -
To: CRANE CO. OF MINNESOTA - 650 Brass Corporation Stops, 1400 Brass Curb Stops,
300 Brass Couplings • at a contract price of - $7378.00
To: HAYS MANUFACTURING COMPANY • 550 Brass Couplings - at a contract price of $697.50
(Board of Water Commissioners reserving the right to increase any individual it of the
materials of the contract by an amount not to exceed 20% of the quantity indicated for
that item), such bids being the lowest and said bidders being reasonable and reliable
bidders and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form
of contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute
said contract on behalf of the City of St. Paul.
