WHEREAS, Samt Paul Adminisffative Code §86.03 (2)(b) reguues that "any lease ofpark lands and/or reczeation facihties
which will be for a penod of moce than one (1) year shall require approval by the council followin� a pubhc hearing before the
pazk commission" , and
WHEREAS, the Pazk Cominission recommended that the lease be approved and the Ciry Council Snds that the lease of fhe
of8ce space at the recreation center is an acceptable use of the space and does not deffact from the delivery of recrearion
services: now, therefore be �t
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul Crty Council hereby authorizes the appLOpxiate city employees to enteL mto the attached three
year lease agreements with the Dismct 7 Planning Council.

RESOLUTION 10-07
WF�REAS, the 5aint Paul Pazks and Recreation Commission ("Commission") is an
appointed body established to advise the Mayor and City Council on long-range and city-wide
matters related to Pazks and Recreation; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Pazks and Recreation wishes to lease office space at the
West Minnehaha Recreation Center to the Thomas/Dale District 7 Planning Council and the
lease is for a period of three years; and
WIIEREAS, providing space at West Minnehaha Recreation Center will provide
opportunities for the District 7 Council and the reereation center staff to work more closely
together in serving the community: now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul Pazks and Recreation Commission recommend
to the City Council that they app�ove the City Councii Resolution allowing Pazks and Recreation
to enter into a three year lease agreement with Thomas/Dale District 7 Planning Council.
