WHEREAS, a revered St. Paul resident, Mr. Ole Christopherson,
1305 East Fourth Street, will eels brate his 100th
Anniversary on Christmas Day; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Christopherson, born in Veldre, Norway, in 1856,
came to the United States and distinguished himself as
a responsible citizen; possessing a notable voting
record which dates back to 1883 and which serves as
public testimony to his conscientious fulfillment of
civic duties; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Christopherson's contributions to community affairs
and his many years of deep interest in civic progress,
serve to inspire others to maintain a similar degree
of good citizenship; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that we, the Mayor and members of the Council of the
City of Saint Paul, for ourselves and on behalf of all
the citiaens of Saint Paul, Hereby commend and congratulate
Mr. Ole Christopherson on the occasion of his 100th
Birthday; and wish him good health au a pleasant birthday
anniversary; and be it
rv±THER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to present
to Mr. Ole Christopherson a certified copy of this Resolution
as a token of our congratulations and best wishes.
