WHEREAS, o . December 19, 1956, Almighty God summoned from
this life Mrs. Alice M. Ryan, mother of Thomas J. Ryan, Assistant
Corporation Counsel of this City, and Dr. James Ryan of San Diego,
California, and sister of Mrs. John F. Slattery of Saint Paul, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Council of the City of Saint
Paul to extend to the bereaved family of Mrs. Alice M. Ryan its
sympathy for the loss of a woman whose years of teaching contributed
greatly to the citizens of this City and State; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that we, the members of the City Council extend to
the members of the bereaved family our deep and heartfelt sympathy
in this hour of their sorrow; be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that in token of our deepest sympathy,
this resolution be spread on the official minutes of the Council
of the City of Saint Paul, and that an engrossed copy thereof be
sent to the bereaved family of the deceased.
