RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the Traffic
Sign Shop, 102 East 10th Street, Room 201, St. Paul, Minnesota, 2500 gallons X1.851
White Traffic Marking Paint to FARWELL, OZMUN, KIRK & COMPANY, in accordance with
City specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #5859 of said Farwell,
Ozmun, Kirk & Company, for the price of $2.41 per gallon, making total amount of .
contract $6025.00, such bid being the lowest based on cost per foot per day of
useful life, and said Farwell, Ozmun, Kirk & Company being a reasonable and
reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby, is directed to draw up
the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are
authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of St. Paul.
