allowed under contract number 6-329 between the City
of Saint Paul and the Healy Plumbing and Heating Company,
said contract for Mechanical Work in connection with the
new Municipal Stadium, and. said extra to cover the furnish-
ing and installation of 5 - 24 gauge stainless steel
directional elbows, these having been requested by the
Commissioner of Libraries, Auditorium and Museums, and
agreement made with the Contractor, and a memorandum of
said agreement having been filed with the Comptroller and
countersigned by him. —

Dear Sir:
Contract Number G-329 was awarded to the Healy Plumbing
and Heating Company for Mechanical Work in connection with
the new Municipal Stadium.
•
During the course of the work under this contract, it has
been found very necessary to have installed five 24-gauge
stainless steel directional elbows to eliminate the possibility
of flue gases backing down through the gas water heaters, and
at the request of Commissioner Mortinson, negotiations have
been conducted with the Contractor who agrees to furnish and
install these elbows for the additional sum of $110.55 which
is a reasonable amount for the labor and material involved.
It is therefore requested that a Resolution be submitted
to the Council authorizing an extra to contract number G-329,
said extra in the amount of $110.55 and to cover the above
listed installation.
