In the Matter of changing the grade of the alley in Block 2, Banker's Addition, from
Ivy Ave. to a point 132.93 ft. south to conform to the grade as shown on the profile
on file in the Department of Public Works. Also grading and surfacing with bituminous
material the alley in Block 2, Banken's Addition and Block 2, Holz's Rearrangement,
from Orange Ave. to Ivy Ave. to the proposed change of grade,
under Preliminary Order 180481 approved November 23, 1956
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is change the grade of
the alley in Block 2, Banken's Addition, from Ivy Ave. to a point 132.93 ft. south to
conform to the grade as shown on the profile on file in the Department of Public Works.
Also grade and surface with bituminous material the alley in Block 2, Banken's Addition
and Block 2, Holz's Rearrangement, from Orange Ave. to Ivy Ave. to the proposed change
of grade,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 3,372.79
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 8th day of
January , 19 57 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
