RESOLVED, That an extra in the amount of $245.00 be
allowed under contract number G-239 between the City
of Saint Paul and the Hankee Heating Company, said
contract for the Removal of Existing Boilers and the
Installation of New Boilers in the Boiler Room at the
Como Park Greenhouse, St. Paul, Minnesota, and said
extra to cover the installation of a concrete sump and
sump pump, this work having been, requested by the
Commissioner of Parks, Playgrounds and Public Buildings,
and agreement made with the Contractor, and a memorandum
of said agreement having been filed with the Comptroller
and countersigned by him.

Dear Sir:
Contract Number G-239 was awarded to the Hankee Heating
Company for the Removal of Existing Boilers and the Installa-
tion of New Boilers in the Boiler Room at the Como Park
Greenhouse, St. Paul, Minnesota.
During the course of the work under this contract, it has
been found necessary that an 18" x 30" concrete sump be installed,
together with the necessary piping, controls, and wiring, as well
as the installation of a 1-1/2" one-quarter H.P. automatic sump
pump. Negotiations have been conducted with the Contractor who
agrees to install these items for the additional amount of
$245.00 which is a reasonable amount for the labor and material
involved.
It is therefore requested that a resolution be submitted
to the Council which will authorize an extra to contract number
G-239 to cover the above items.
