Dear Sir:
Contract Number G-328 was awarded to the Steenberg Construc-
tion Company for General Construction of the Munidipal Stadium.
At the request of Commissioner Mortinson, negotiations have
been conducted with the Contractor. relative to thei deletion of
certain items as listed below on this project, an the Contractor
has offered the City a credit in the amount of $6,561.00 which is
a reasonable amount for the labor and material in olved:
For changing backup of exterior walls above ;the
Robertson Q Deck from common brick to load bear-
ing backup tile, except for areas necessary !for
toothing to columns and for building in roof'
f lashing, where the common brick will still lbe
used - $2,987.00
For the omission of block veneer on Columns G-17,
18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24 4---- 60.00
For the omission of all concrete rubbing as 'required
by plans and specifications, and propose to use
plywood forms for all areas exposed to the public,
and socking said areas to fill pinholes and minor
imperfections j 3,514.00
Total Credit r---$6,561.00
It is therefore requested that a Resolution be submitted to
the Council accepting a credit to contract number G-328, said credit
in the amount of $6,561.00 and for the above listed items.
