WHEREAS, The Commissioner of Parks, Playgrounds and Public4 Buildings
has reported, in accordance with Section 53 of the City Charter,
the existence of an emergency during the period from August 16
to 31, 1956, which rendered necessary the employment of certain
employees of the Department of Parks, Playgrounds and Public
Buildings for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per
week in doing the following work:
Expediting the services of the City Architect's office.
And WHEREAS, This emergency arose by reason of the following facts and
circumstances:
Extraordinary, heavy demand for the development of
bond issue projects.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the proper city officers hereby
authorized to pay the employees who performed such w k in
accordance with the provisions of the Council's sa ordinance,
Ordinance No. 6416.
