In the Matter of constructing new mercury vapor ornamental lights on Selby Avenue

under Preliminary Order 177912 approved May 17, 1856
Intermediary Order approved
A public hearing having been had upon the above improvement upon due otice, and the Council
having heard all persons, objections and recommendations relative thereto, and laving fully considered
the same; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of St. Paul that the precise nature,lextent and kind of im-
provement to be made by the said City is construct new mercury vapor ornamental lights on
Selby Avenue from Fry Street to Saratoga Street and on Snelling Avenue from Hague Avenue
to Marshall Avenue, including the construction of new or the reconstruction of old cables,
conduits, pull boxes and other appurtenances, where necessary,
and the Council hereby orders said improvement to be made.
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Commissioner of Public Works be and is hereby instructed and
directed to prepare plans and specifications for said improvement, and submit same to the Council for
approval; that upon said approval, the proper city officials are hereby authorized and directed to pro-
ceed with the making of said improvement in accordance therewith.
