i WHEREAS, Chapter 41 of the Saint Paul Administrative Code sets forth the process for allowing employees of the
2 City of Saint Paul to sol�ci[ funds and/or property for any employer-rela[ed or occupationa]-related purposes, and
4 WHEREAS, in the case of' solicitations of more than five hundred dollazs ($500.00) on3y the mayor or des�gnee or
5 the council as a whole or desig�ee of the coancil ca� make such soiic�tation; and
7�WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation wishes to solicit businesses and individuals to donate to the
8 Blooming Saint Paul program for the beautifica6on of the city and such donauons will be separately accounted for and the
9 donors appropriately rewgnized, now, therefore be it

11 RESOLVED, that the Director af the Department of Parks and Recreat�on, Michael Hahm, and h�s designee, Mark
12 Granlund, are hereby designated as individuals who may soLcit funds on behalf Blooming Saint Paul.

14 FURTHER 12ESOLVED, that quarterly reports of al] sohcitations by the Department of Parks and Recreatio❑
] 5 pursua�c to this resolullon will be provided to the city clerk, mayor and eaeh counciiperson.
