HOLLAND, Commissioner ARTHUR F. COLEMAN, Deputy Commissioner August 21, 1956 Comsr. Bernard T. Holland Dept. Parks, Playgrounds & Public Bldgs. Dear Sir: Contract Number G-215 was awarded to Kerwin's, Incorporated, for Furnishing and Installing Seats in the Municipal Auditorium. Because of the steel strike and other conditions beyond the control of the Contractor, he has found it necessary to request an extension of time for completion of this contract until September 21, 1956. This extension of time has the approval of the Commissioner of Libraries, Auditorium and Museums, and is a reasonable request of the Contractor. It is therefore requested that a resolution be submitted to the Council which will authorize an extension of time for completion of Contract Number G-215 until September 21, 1956.
