COMMISSIONS' DATF
RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the Water
Department f.o.b. St. Paul, Minnesota, 5,280 feet of 20" Prestressed Concrete Cylinder
Pipe with rubber and steel joints and appurtenances to LOCK JOINT PIPE COMPANY in
accordance with City specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid
#5882 of said Lock Joint Pipe Company for the Contract price of $44,404.80 (Board of
Water Commissioners reserving the right to increase this item by 10%), such bid being
the lowest and said Lock Joint Pipe Company being the lowest reasonable and reliable
bidder, and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper
form of contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to
execute said contract on behalf of the City of St. Paul.
