RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the PurchasingkCommittee
therefore, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering tolthe Water
Department f.o.b. St. Paul, Minnesota, 4200 feet of 30" Presteessed Concrete Cylinder
Pipe, with rubber and steel joints and appurtenances to LOCK JOINT PIPS COMPANY
in accordance with City specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid
#5881 of said Lock Joint Pipe Company for the contract price of $62,874.00 (Board of
Water Commissioners reserves the right to increase any individual item of the
materials of the contract by an amount not to exceed 10T.) such bid being the lowest
and said Lock Joint Pipe Company being the lowest reasonable and reliable
bidder, and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper
form of contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to
execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
