RESOLVED, that Firs Lutheran Church be permitted
to install and operate a pr'-vate parking lot on Lot 1, Block 2,
Auditor's Subdivision No. 73, at the southwest corner of Maria
and Eighth Suet vacated, in accordance with applicant's
plans filed July 11, 1956, subject to compliance with the
provisions of all ordinances governing the operation of
parking lots, and to the further condition that sidewalks
abutting said premises be kept clean and free of ice and snow
at all times.

applicant's plans filed July 11, 1956.

Dear Sir:
This is in the matter of the application of the First
Lutheran Church for a permit to install and operate a
private parking lot on the property adjacent to the
southwest corner of Maria and Eighth Street vacated.
This property is described as lot 1 - block 2 - Auditor's
sub-division No. 73. The zoning is "Heavy Industry." No
public hearing is required for the issuance of this permit.
The property is presently vacant. It has a frontage of 112'
on Maria and extends 160' to the west. The rear of this
property is unusable due to the bluff line. The applicant's
plans call for a capacity of approximately 25 cars and are
drawn in accordance with existing standards. Field investi-
gation discloses no objection to this proposal from the
standpoint of adjacent land use or traffic.
In consideration of these factors, the Zoning Board recommends
that this permit be granted in accordance with the applicant's
plans filed July 11, 1956. -
