Dear Sir:
Contract Number G-164 was awarded to the George
J. Grant Construction Company for Foyer Remodeling in he
Theater Section of the Municipal Auditorium.
During the course of the work under this contract,
it has been found necessary to install 6" Rubber Base n
all walls bordering the asphalt tile flooring in the Fifth
Street Lobby, and also to transfer the light at the West
end of the Lobby Arcade to the West Arcade Circuit.
At the request of Commissioner Mortinson, negotia-
tions have been conducted with the contractor who agrees to
do the above described work for the additional sum of $342.00
which is a reasonable amount for the labor and material in-
volved.
It is therefore requested that a Resolution be
submitted to the Council which will authorize this extra
in the amount of $342.00 to cover the above work.
Very truly yours,
•
