HOLLAND, Commissioner ARTHUR F. COLEMAN, Deputy Commissioner August 15, 1956 Comsr. Bernard T. Holland Dept. Parks, Playgrounds 8 Public Bldgs. Dear Sir: Contract Number C-215 was awarded to Kerwin's, Inc., for Furnishing and Installing Auditorium Seats in the Municipal Auditorium, St. Paul, Minnesota. During the course of the work under this contract, it has been found necessary to brace 107 of the seats in steel bases, this not being specified originally. At the request of Comsr. Mortinson, negotiations have been conducted with the Contractor who agrees to provide these bases for the sum of $3.94 each, this making a total for 107 bases in the amount of $421.58. It is therefore requested that a resolution be submitted to the Council authorizing an addition to contract number C-215 in the amount of $421.58 to cover the furnishing and installing of bases.
