RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing the Water Department with a
total of 1700 Valve Box Sections, Valve Box Pots and Paving Covers to CRANE CO.
OF MINNESOTA in accordance with Water Department specifications and prints
therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #6032 of said Crane Co, of
Minnesota, at a total contract price of $10,642.00, said Crane Co. of Minnesota
being a reliable and reasonable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby
is directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City
officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City
