III RESOLVED, Tha the Council here, ..proves the award of the-Oneniiet Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for the Grading of Birmingham, Street from Margaret
0 Street to Minnehaha Avenue (except work to be done by City forces), also to construct a
Sewer in Birmingham Street from Margaret Street to 80 feet North of Beech Street, to
AVOWS CONTRACTING COMPANY in accordance with City plans and specifications therefor
hereto attached and the Formal Bid #6024 of said Avoles Contracting Company, for the
contract price of $5094.80 (plus Engineering $408.00 and plus Inspection $102.00 by
City Forces) such bid being the lowest and said Avoles Contracting Company being the
lowest reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is
directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City officials
hereby are authorised to execute said contract on behalf of the City of St.Paul.
