Ot Dbsr 29, 1956 COMMISSIONER RESOLVED, That the Purchasing Agent, with the written consent thereto by the Mayor and Comptroller, to be evidenced by their endorsements hereon, and with the consent of the Council, given hereunder, is hereby authorized, pursuant to Sec. 291 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, to forthwith purchase, without advertisement therefor or the receipt of competitive bids in the premises io Radio Communications Equipment consisting of One Base Station, Two Mobile Transmitter Receiver, One High Gain Antenna and Retractableotelescoping mount for vehicle including transmission line and fittings, including installation for above for the uses and purposes of civil defense by the Department of Public Safety, Fire Department, and in the latteris behalf, of the aggregate purchase price of $3559.00, payable as follows: 50% thereof to be paid by the State of Minnesota and 50% thereof to be paid by the City of St. Paul. • RESOLVED FURTHER,;hat this represents and involves a case of emergency where failure .to act promptly, as aforesaid, will work an injury to the City of Saint Paul, and that the aforesaid portion of said aggregate purchase price to be paid by the City of Saint Paul, in the sum of $1779.50, and no more, shall be payable from the fund of said City designated as Fire Fund, Radio Supplies, Code 8i182 available therefor as certified by the Comptroller. t I"C, Undersigned hereby consent to and concur in foregoing resolution and all authorizations thereunder Mayor Joseph J.
