WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation admimsrers the application process for the 10% Club List of Eligible
Recipients estabhshed by Ordinance 409235; and
WHEREAS, the Youth Programs Fund Advisory Boaid was formed to implement the adrsumstrat�on of the ordinance for the
Department and
WHEREAS, the Youth Programs Fund Advisory Board met on January 7, 2010 to add organizations to the eligible recipients
list for the ] 0% Club for 2010, and
WHEREAS, these orgamzations wese approved by the Youth Programs Fund Advisory Board, Boy Scout Troops #12, 174, 197,
216, and 294. Broom Closet Inc., Como Area Hockey Assoc�ation, Como Area Youth Wrestling/Foofball, Duluth & Case
Booster Club, Dunning Boosfer, Fdgcumbe Hockey Sooster Club, Fnends of Oxford Pool, Groveland Booster Club, Hamlme
American Legion Baseball, Haze] Park Boosfer Club, H�ghland Friendship Club, Highland Gymnas[ics Club, History Day

Atfached is a resolution from Parks notifying Council of the 2010 list of eligible
recipients for the "10% Club: ' Youth sports arganizations on the list are eligible to
receive donations from charitable gambling organizations in St. PauL The process for
creating the list is established in City ordinance (409.235). The ordinance states that a
Youth Programs Fund Advisory Board (made up of representatives from each district
council and four at-large representatives) shall annually create a list of youth sports
organizations that will be eligible to receive proeeeds from the City's oharitable gambling
program. The ordinance also states that the list must be appmved annually via Council
resolution. OK to sigti.
