applicant' s plans dated September 20, 1956, subject to compli-
ance with the provisions of all ordinances governing the
operation of parking lots, and subject to the filing of an
appeal to waive the 8-ft. east side-yard requirement of Section
8, Paragraph 1 of the Zoning Ordinance; subject further to the

Dear Sir:
This is in the matter of the application of the Theo.
Hamm Brewing Company for permit to install and operate
a private parking lot on the property adjacent to the
south side of Minnehaba between Walsh and Greenbrier.
This property is described as lots 9, 10 and 11 - block
1 Schurmeier & Evans Addition, The zoning is "light
industry," •
The property is presently vacant and has a frontage of
120' on Minnebaha and extends to a depth of 125'. It
will be used as an employee parking lot with a capacity
of approximately 60 cars.
The applicant's plans are in accordance with existing
standards and field investigation discloses no objection
from the standpoint of adjacent land use or traffic.
Therefore, the Zoning Board recommends that this permit
be granted in accordance with the applicant's plans
dated September 20, 1956 subject to the filing of an
appeal to waive the 8' east side-yard requirement of
Section 8, paragraph 1 of the Zoning Ordinance so as to
permit the carrying out of the relationship shown on the
applicant's plans.
