RESOLVED, That a credit in the amount of $892.75 be
accepted under contract number G-290 between the City
of Saint Paul and the Carl Bolander and Sons Company,
said contract for Grading, Filling, Surfacing, Seeding,
Sodding, Sewer, Catch Basins and Bituminous Surfaces,
etc. , for a Playground Area located on Duluth Street
between Lawson and Case Avenues, St. Paul, Minnesota,
and said credit offered for the elimination of 4200 square
yards of seed and 311 cubic yards of topsoil, this elimina-
tion having been requested by the Commissioner of Parks,
Playgrounds and Public Buildings.

Dear Sir:
Contract Number G-290 was awarded to the Carl
Bolander and Sons Company for Grading, Filling, Surfacing,
Seeding, Sodding, Sewer, Catch Basins and Bituminous
Surfaces, etc. , for a Playground Area located on Duluth
Street between Lawson and Case Avenues, St. Paul, Minnesota.
During the course of the work under this contract, it
has been found that 4200 SY of Seed and 311 CY of Topsoil
could be eliminated under this contract, and the Contractor
has offered the City a credit in the amount of $892.75 for
this deletion, which is a reasonable amount.
It is therefore requested that a resolution be submitted
to the Council accepting this credit in the amount of $892.75
to contract number G-290.
