In the matter of opening and extending Sherwood Avenue to a width of 60 ft. from
Hazelwood Street to Prosperity Avenue by taking and condemning the North 7.35 ft.
of Lot 6, all of Lot 5, and the South 22.65 ft. of Lot it, all in Blocl. 2, Nilsson's

Intermediary Order 179577 , approved September 11, 1956
A public hearing having been had upon the above improvement upon due notice, and the Council having
heard all persons, objections and recommendations relative thereto, and having fully considered the same;
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of Saint Paul that the precise nature, extent and kind of im-
provement to be made by the said City is opening and extending Sherwood Avenue to a width of
60 ft. from Hazelwood_Street to Prosperity Avenue by taking and oondenning the North
7.35 ft. of Lot 6, all of Lot 5, aSd the South 22.65 ft. of Lot 4, all in Block 2,
Nilsson*s Subdivision of Lots 1,9 and 20, Block 6, and Lot 1, Block 2, Rogers 4:-.1
Hendrick's Acre Lots No.2i
and the Council hereby orders said improvements to be made.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the following land, lands or easements therein be and the same are
hereby ordered to be taken, appropriated and condemned for the purpose of making said improvements, viz.:
The North 7.35 ft. of Lot 6, all of Lot 5, and the South 22.65 ft.
of Lot 1,, all in Block 2, Nil¢sonts Subdivision of Lots. 19 and 20,;
Block 6, and Lot 1, Block 2, Rogers & Hendrick's Acre Lots No.2, '
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Commissioner of Public Works be and is hereby instructed and
directed to prepare plans and specifications for said improvement, and the proper city officials are hereby
authorized and directed to proceed with the making of said improvement in accordance therewith.

Council, known as Council File No. 1772951 approved march 29, 19 56 , relative to
opening and extending Sherwood Ave ue to a width of 60 ft. from Hazelwood Street
to Prosperity Avenue by taking condemning the north 7.35 ft. of Lot 6, all of
Lot 5, and the south 22.65 ft. of Lot 4, all in Block 2, Nilsson's Subdivision of
Lots 19 and 20, Block 6, and Lot 1, Block 2, Rogers & Hendrick's Acre Lots No. 2
and having investigated the matters and ings referred to therein, hereby reports:
