Dear Sir:
This is in the matter of the application of C. P. Kimmel for permit
to establish and operate a used car lot on the property adjacent to
the northwest corner of Arcade and Cottage. This property is des-
cribed as lots 4, 5 and 6 - block 2 - King's Arcade Park Addition.
The zoning is "commercial".
Lots 4 and 5 of this property are vacant. Lot 6 is the site of a
real estate office. The applicants propose to continue the present
real estate office on lot 6 and have a used car lot operation on lot
.4 and 5 with an office on lot 6.
westerly
This property has a frontage of 36' on Arcade and extends/a distance
of 123.63' on Cottage. The applicant's plans meet existing standards.
Access to this property will be from a paved 20' north-south alley
adjacent to the westerly limits of this property. There will be one
20' opening from this alley.
Field investigation discloses no objection to this activity from the
standpoint of adjacent land use or traffic considerations.
In consideration of these factors the Zoning Board recommends that
this permit be granted in accordance with the applicant's plans
approved August 9, 1956.
