RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee therefor
and hereby awards contract for replacement of certain items of Uniforms (including
services of a tailor to make necessary alterations for proper individual fitting) for
approximately 300 members of the Department of Public Safety, Bureau of Police, and for
approximately 10 members of the Department of Parks, Playgrounds and Public Buildings,
Bureau of Park Police, for a period of two years from date of contract, to OSCAR WEITZMAN
UNIFORM STORE in accordance with City specifications therefor hereto attached and the
Formal Bid #5952 of said Oscar Weitzman Uniform Store at unit prices bid, such bid being
the lowest and said Oscar Weitzman Uniform Store being a reliable and reasonable bidder,
and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is authorized to draw up the prop 4form of
contract therefor and the proper City officials are hereby directed to execute said
contract on behalf of the City of St. Paul.
