WHEREAS, The Commissioner of Parks, Playgrounds and
Public Buildings has recommended the leasing of the privilege of
operating a souvenir stand in Come Park to John E. O'Hara, 1911
Ashland Avenue, for the park season of 1957, said lessee to pay
$500. 00 for said privilege, payable $100.00 July 1, 1957, $200. 00
August 1, 1957 and $200.00 September 1, 1957, and such lease of
privilege to be conditioned that the lessee shall not hawk or peddle
any merchandise in said park, and further provided that such stand
shall be situated at a location approved by the Department of Parks,
Playgrounds and Public Buildings;therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Council concurs in the recommendation
of the Commissioner of Parks, Playgrounds and Public Buildings,
and the Corporation Counsel is hereby authorized and directed to
draw the proper lease therefor, and the proper City officers are
authorized to execute the same on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
