COMMISSIONS
RESOLVED, That the Council hereby concurs in the recommendation of the
Purchasing Committee in awarding contract for furnishing and delivering
One 30" and Six 20" Water Gate Valves to the Water Department Yard, Hamline &
Carroll Avenues, St. Paul, Minnesota, on the Milwaukee Railway, to MUNICIPAL
SUPPLY COMPANY for the contract price of $8205.87 (Board of Water Commissioners
reserving right to increase total order by 257) all in accordance with Water
Department specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #6O54 of
said Municipal Supply Company, such bid being the lowest meeting specifications
and said Municipal Supply Company being a reasonable and reliable one and the
Corporation Counsel be and heriby is directed to draw up the proper form of
contract therefor and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to
execute said contract on behalf of the_City_of St. Paul.
