M. on December 27, 1956, upon the advisability and necessity of the repair, replacement, remodeling, or wrecking and removal of the two story frame building on Lots 29 and 30, Block 22, Mackubin & Marshall's Addition to St. Paul, according to the plat thereof recorded in theeffice of the Register of Deeds of Ramsey County, Minnesota, also described as No. 241 North Western Avenue, because said structure is reported to be dangerous and unsafe to life, limb and adjoining property. Council City of St. Paul Gentlemen: The building which formerly housed a saloon on the first floor and apartments on the second at 241 North Western Avenue has been under observation by this office since May, 1950 because of its dilapidated condition. It is described as Lots 29 and 30, Block 22, Mackubin 8 Marsh- all's Addition to St. Paul. This is a two story frame building, vacant for years. The south wall bulges, plumbing has deteriorated, plaster is loose and falling, the building is out of plumb 1V2 to • inch- es, lap siding is loose and curled, floors sag. This build- ing is dangerous to life, limb, and adjoining property and should be removed from the premises. Danger Notices have been posted and the last known record owner is Lampert Yards, Inc., 1565 Selby Avenue, St. Paul. They have been notified of the condition of the building.
