COMMISSIONS DATF
RESOLVED, That the Council hereby concurs in the recommendation of the Contract
Committee in awarding contract for furnishing all labor, materials and services
necessary for and reasonably incidental to the wrecking of dwelling and removal
of miscellaneous concrete and debris located at 264 West Cottage Avenue, described
as Lots 1 and 2, Block 6, Rice Street Villas Subdivision of Lots 8, 10, 12, 13 and
East 275 feet of Lot 11, Wolcottts Addition to Cottage Homes, St. Paul, Minnesota,
to EDWARD F. MERTZ in accordance with City specifications therefor hereto attached
and the Formal Bid #6041 of said Edward F. Mertz for the contract price of $70.00,
such bid being the lowest and said Edward F. Mertz being a reasonable and reliable
bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper
form of contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to
execute said contract on behalf of the City of St. Paul.
