In the matter of
partially opening, widening and extending the Mississippi River Boulevard
pptoich to the proposed New Fort Snelling Bridge, by condemning and taking the
following described parcel of land: The west 100 ft. of Lot 31, Franklin Steelets
Subdivision of Lot 2, Section 21, Township -28 North, Range 23 West,
under Preliminary Order 179687 , approved September 19, 1956
Intermediary Order 180127 , approved October 23, 1956
A public hearing having been had upon the above improvement upon due notice, and the Council having
heard all persons, objections and recommendations relative thereto, and having fully considered the same;
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of Saint Paul that the precise nature, extent and kind of im-
provement to be made by the said City is partially opening, widening and'extending the
Mississippi River Boulevard Appttiach to the proposed New Fort Snelling Bridge, by
condemning and taking the following described parcel of land: The west 100 ft. of
Lot 31, Franklin Steelets Subdvision of Lot 2, Section 21, 'Township 28 North, Range
23 West.
and the Council hereby orders said improvements to be made.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the following land, lands or easements therein be and the same are
hereby ordered to be taken, appropriated and condemned for the purpose of making said improvements, viz.:
The west 100 ft. of Lot 31, Franklin Steele's Subdivision of Lot 2,
Section,21, Township 28 North, Range 23 Aest.
, RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Commissioner of Public Works be and is hereby instructed and
directed to prepare plans and specifications for said improvement, and the proper city officials are hereby
authorized and directed to proceed with the making of said improvement in accordance therewith.

Council, known as Council File No. 179687 approved September 19, 1956 , relative to
Partially opening, widening and extending the Mississippi River Boulevard Approach
to the prnpnsed new Fort Snelling Bridge, by condemning and taking the following
ameorihart pereal of land. the west 100 ft. of Lot 31, Franklin Steele's Sub of

and having investigated the matters and things referred to therein, hereby reports:
