RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering Cast Iron Water
Pipe Pressure Fittings to the Water Department Storeyard, Hemline and Carroll Avenues,
St. Paul, Minnesota, on the Milwaukee Railway, to AIERICAN CAST IRON PIPE COMPANY
in accordance with City specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal
Bid #6086 of said American Cast Iron Pipe Company for the contract price of
025,762.25 (Board of Water Commissioner reserving the right to increase any
individual item of the Materials of the Contract by an amount not to exceed 252
of the quantities indicated for that item), such bid being the lowest and said
American Cast Iron Pipe Company being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the
Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of
contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute
said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.

RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering Cast Iron Water

of the quantities indicated for that item), such bid being the lowest and said
American Cast Iron Pipe Company being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the
Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of
contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute
said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
