WHEREAS, the Board of Water Commissioners of the City of
Saint Paul has by resolution dated December 21, 1956, deter-
mined that it has no further use for and that it is in the
best interests of the City of Saint Paul and the Board of
Water Commissioners to dispose of the following described
City of Saint Paul real property:
E. 123.41 ft. M. 0. L. of W. 650.01 ft. M. 0. L.
as per 75 TS 192 of Part, between Cottage Avenue
and Clear Avenue of NW1 of SEM of Sec. 23, T. 29,
R. 22W, being the present site of an abandoned
550,000 gallon concrete reservoir, situate in the
County of Ramsey, State of Minnesota, which
f aces on the north side of Clear Avenue and the
south side of Cottage Avenue just easterly of Ruth
Street and upon which was built in 1916 the old
and original one-half million gallon concrete
reservoir, and
WHEREAS, said reservoir is now out of service and, with
the construction of two new standpipes at much higher elevation,
will not be of any further use in the water distribution system,
now therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the sale of the lands herein described as one
parcel be and hereby is authorized, said sale to be made under
the provisions of Ordinance No. 6576 as amended, and subject to
requirements for purchaser's removal of old reservoir structure
now located thereon, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the receipts from the sale of said
property be credited to Water Department Fund 23.
