WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Chapter of the National Association for thz Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) has offered a
donahon of �500.00 to the Saint Paul Fire Deparhnent in support of the Saint Paul EMS Academy, and
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Fue Deparhnent would like to accept this donanon from the NAACP, and
WHEREAS, the public purpose of the Samt Paul EMS Academy is to give 40 participants [ttat live in Ramsey County the
opportuniry to piepaze for cazeers in fse and/or EMS service, and
NOW THEREFORE, IT BE RESOLVED, that the Samt Paul City Council, on behalf of the citizens of Samt Pau1, accept this
donahon of $500.00 from NAACP and extend their sincere appreciation to this orgamzat�on.

program is available to youth who reside in Ramsey County and will prepare them for careers in fire and/or EMS service.

The Saint Paul Fire Department will be able to accept the donation for the Saint Paul EMS Academy.
