RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee therefor
and hereby awards contract for furnishing all labor, materials and services necessary
for and reasonably incidental to the wrecking of dwellings, garage and removal of
miscellaneous concrete work, fences and debris, less material retained by owner,
located at 1291 Taylor Avenue, described as Lots 7, 8 and 9, Block 2, Hersey-Woolsey
Addition and 1373 Taylor Avenue, described as subject to the North 10 feet thereof
being used for an alley, the West 86 feet of ea172 feet of the South 135 feet of
Lot 3, Block 1, College Place, East Division, St. Paul, Minnesota to KNUD NIE SEN in
accordance with City specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal bid #6123
of said Knud Nielsen, City to pay Contractor $235.00, such bid being the lowest and
said Knud Kielsen being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel
be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the
proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of
the City of St. Paul.
