Resolution of Council Approving Assessment
and Fixing Time of Hearing Thereon
In the matter of the assessment of benefits, damages, costs and expenses for
changing the grade of the alley in Block 11, Michel & Robertson's Addition, from
Milton St. to Victoria St. to conform to the grade as shown on file in the Department
of Public Works. Also grading and surfacing with bituminous naeiterial the alley in
Block 11, Michel & Robertson's Addition, from Milton St. to Victoria St. to the
proposed change of grade. Also constructing a sewer from the alley to James Ave.
in an easement to be obtained on, under and across the westerly 4 ft. of the
easterly 28 ft. of Lot 8, Block 11, Michel & Robertson's Addition,
under Preliminary Order 172640 ., approved April 12, 1955
Intermediary Order 173376 , approved May 31, 1955
Final Order 173855 , approved June 28, 1955
reapproved August 17, 1955
The assessment of benefits, damages, costs and expenses for and in connection with
the above improvement having been submitted to the Council, and the Council having considered same
and found the said assessment satisfactory, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the said assessment be and the same is hereby in all respects approved.
RESOLVED FURTHER, That a public hearing be had on said assessment on the._ 5th
day of June , 19 57 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of
the Court House and City Hall Building, in the City of St. Paul; that the Commissioner of Finance
give notice of said meetings, as required by the Charter, stating in said notice the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement, the total cost thereof, and the amount assessed against the
lot or lots of the particular owner to whom the notice is directed.
