In the Matter of restoring the sidewalk on the east side of Farri St. from
University Ave. to Sherburne Ave. by constructing new sidewalk where cessary and
by repairing where practical,
under Preliminary Order 179665 approved September 18, 1956
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the sai improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That h the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is restore the sidewalk

on the east side of Farrington St. from University Ave. to Sherburne Ave. by con-
structing new sidewalk where necessary and by repairing where practical,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 0.50 per sq. ft. f 4" Monolithic
(Excavation, fill, conc. removed, drive crossings, root cutting, etc. at extra cost)
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 4 day of
June , 19 57 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamb of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Financ give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the tine and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement gatif the the8lacliost thereof as estimated.
