INTERMEDIARY ORDER ce -
In the Matter of restoring the sidewalk on the west side of Garfield St. abutting
the property described as follows - the north 39 ft. of Lot 84, Whitacre, Brisbine
and Mullen's Sub. of Lots 1 and 2, Leech's Outlots, otherwise known as Number 47
Garfield St.,
under Preliminary Order 181761 approved March 5, ,1957
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the sail improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is restore the sidewalk
on the west side of Garfield St. abutting the property described as follows - the north
39 ft. of Lot 814, Whitacre, Brisbine and Mulleins Sub. of Lots 1 and , Leech's
Outlots, otherwise known as Number 47 Garfield St.,
the estimated cost thereof is 0.50 per sq. ft. fir 4" Monolithic
with no alternatives, and that s $
(Excavation, fill, conc. removed, root cutting, drive crossings etc. at extra cost)
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 4h day of
June , 19 57 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
