In the Matter of grading and surfacing with bituminous material the alley in
Block 65, St. Anthony Park, from Manvel St. to Pearl St. Also constructing a sewer
in an easement to be obtained on the northerly 4 ft. of the southerly 6 ft. of Lot 21,
Block 65, St. Anthony Park, from Bayless Ave. to the alley in the rear of said lot,
under Preliminary Order 182042 approved March 22 1•,
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commission:r of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is grade and surface
from bituminous material the alley in Block 65, St. Anthony Park, fro vel St. to
Pearl St. Also construct a sewer in an easement to be obtained on the ortherly 4 ft.
of the southerly 6 ft. of Lot 21, Block 65, St. Anthony Park, from Bayless Ave. to
the alley in the rear of said lot,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 5,551.01
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 4 day of
June , 19 57 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance ive notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and1( q total cost thereof as estimated.
