RESOLVED, That this Council hereby approves and concurs in the Resoluti n of the
Board of Water Commissioners of the City of Saint Paul bearing even dat herewith
whereby said Board has found that such has become necessary and has mad provision
for an amendment of the existing "Contract for Engineering Services" dated the 24th
day of January 1957 by and between said Board and Black de Veatch, Consulting Engineers,
by the inclusion therein of extra provisions for the performance of sai Consulting
Engineers, for said Board, of necessary engineering services properly t• design and
supervise the replacement of the old brick conduit of the city's water orks system
within its right-of-way between Vadnais Lake and McCarron Filtration P1 -nt by a 90
inch concrete or steel conduit; and that the Corporation Counsel be dir-cted to pre-
pare the necessary form of amendment to said contract so that the same ill be
accordingly amended and supplemented.
